SICO Asset Management manages four equity funds: its flagship Khaleej Equity Fund, the SICO Gulf Equity Fund, the SICO Kingdom Equity Fund, and the Bahrain Liquidity Fund.

Together with several discretionary portfolio management accounts and third-party funds, the team has consistently grown its AUMs while maintaining its funds’ health by leveraging management’s in-depth understanding of regional equity markets, key growth sectors and major listed companies. The division is also supported by a highly-insightful research team capable of producing comprehensive buy-side coverage.

Khaleej Equity Fund

SICO’s flagship equity fund gives investors exposure to the burgeoning GCC and wider Middle East region through a mandate to invest in six GCC markets. It seeks long-term capital growth by investing in both regional equities and equity-related, hybrid and debt instruments in the GCC.

SICO Gulf Equity Fund

The SICO Gulf Equity Fund has a mandate to invest in all GCC equity markets excluding Saudi Arabia, giving investors direct access to the region. The fund adopts a bottom-up approach focused on stock picking to achieve long-term capital appreciation and seeks out investment opportunities instead of following a passive, index weighted approach.

SICO Kingdom Equity Fund

The Fund focuses on securities listed in KSA allowing investors to benefit from the kingdom’s growing equity market. Its bottom-up approach focuses on stock picking to achieve long-term capital appreciation and actively seeks out investment opportunities rather than a passive index-weighted approach.

Bahrain Liquidity Fund

The Bahrain Liquidity Fund was launched and co-seeded by SICO in June 2016 with the aim of enhancing and deepening the kingdom’s stock market. SICO initiated the development and launch of the BD 41 million fund along with key Bahrain financial institutions, the Central Bank of Bahrain and the Bahrain Bourse.
