SICO is headquartered in Bahrain and oversees three wholly-owned subsidiaries, an Abu Dhabi-based brokerage firm, SICO Invest, a specialized regional custody and fund administration house, SICO Fund Services Company (SFS), and a full-fledged capital markets services firm, SICO Capital, based in Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Women’s Empowerment

Women’s empowerment and gender equality in the workplace are also part of SICO’s core values. In 2017, we established an Equal Opportunity Committee under the auspices of SICO’s new Charter for Gender Diversity. This Committee has been charged with ensuring equal employment opportunities for men and women at SICO as well as identifying areas in which our policies, procedures and practices can be improved to promote gender inclusion and diversity. Women account for more than 30% of total Group employees, occupying key managerial and supervisory positions.

Internships

While we actively cultivate the talent of our current employees, SICO is also committed to identifying and training new talent through our internship and executive training programs. The six-month executive training program targets recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the banking and finance industry.
