Internships
SICO is being increasingly regarded as a training institute specially when it comes to talents in treasury, investment management and research. Every year our internship programs give eligible students the opportunity to enhance their financial skills and improve their career prospects. SICO’s two-month summer internship program is designed to give undergraduate university students exposure to various divisions within the Bank including asset management, investment banking, brokerage, market making, treasury and research. After the completion of the program students will be able to grasp a solid understanding of the finance industry and plan their future careers accordingly.
Eligibility Requirements
• Bahraini nationals
• Enrolled in university in an undergraduate program in or related to finance, business and economics
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills
Executive Training
Since inception in 1995, SICO’s six-month executive training program has been providing new graduates with their first professional market exposure to banking and finance. Through the program participants will be able to work alongside a multicultural group of top professionals in the industry and gain first-hand experience in the capital markets and asset management fields.
Eligibility Requirements
• Bahraini nationals
• Have an undergraduate degree in major that is in or related to finance, business and economics
• Have graduated within the past 12 months with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills
