SICO Capital is proud to welcome Francis Dassou onboard, a capital market expert with over 20 years of industry practice covering many geographies and business lines. Francis started his career in corporate finance before moving to the capital market industry. He held prominent positions in large financial institutions in Paris before joining HSBC in Luxembourg. He built and led the Islamic finance business for HSBC Securities Services in 32 countries and has been instrumental in building a multi-million-dollar Islamic book for prominent international and GCC Asset managers.
Francis relocated to Bahrain in 2014 as Regional Head of Fund Services and Global Custody for HSBC MENA. His passion for the capital market industry led him actively contributed to the fund industry through his advisor roles in prestigious capital market industry bodies. During his tenure in the region, he led many key initiatives for local regulators and exchanges in relation to industry and international market best practices. Francis holds a MSc. in Capital Market Finance from Paris Business Management School.
Haifa first joined SICO in 2004, holding the position of Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Administration and we are very excited to see what she will bring to the department now as its head. Haifa has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Haifa holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow, UK and a BSc. in Business Information Systems from University of Bahrain.
