SICO raised its female board representation to 40% from 30% previously. This comes following the appointment of the newest member to its Board of Directors, Elham Adel Al Majed, as a Non-Executive Director after the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the bank’s premises in the Bahrain World Trade Center on 27 March 2023.

SICO currently has four women serving on its Board of Directors of its ten members:

• Tala Fakhro (Independent Director)
• Naseema Haidar (Non-Executive Director)
• Dana Raees (Executive Director)
• Elham Adel Al Majed (Non-Executive Director)

We are very proud to have increased our female board representation to now have the highest in the Kingdom at 40%, which is a reflection of diversity and inclusivity as core values for SICO and our commitment to creating a workplace that reflects these values across all levels.
